The Condor Travelhawk Axe is a good mix between a hunters and bushcraft axe.
Innovative foundations of this novelty were provided by the Franconian Axe "Franziska" of the 6th to 8th century, the little Viking Beard Axe "Skeggöx" of the 8th to 9th century, the Inuit women's knife "Ulu" of the 19th century, and the relativized requirements of a solid tool.
The benefits of the Travelhawk are that it can be collapse into 2 parts making it easy to stow and transport. The blade itself can be used without a handle as a qualified knife for skinning or for the processing of game or wood. The wooden shaft is embedded in the axe blade from above. Due to the upward flare and conical blade eyelet, the axe head counteracts the centrifugal force, so that its grip becomes firmer with each stroke. Includes a handcrafted welted leather sheath.
